Union Pacific Railroad Promo Belt Buckle Mountain Elk Logo c. 1971 BTS An awesome old railroad logo promotional belt buckle from Union Pacific Railroad, showing the original "Mountain Elk" logo. Union Pacific's mountain elk logo was first used to identify the fledgling "Union Pacific Rail Road Company" in 1868. This is a heavier, solid brass buckle with detailed artwork and a darkened background, made by BTS, in 1983. It is in nice condition, as shown in the photos it does have some minor wear and tear from age. It measures approximately 3-3/4" x 2-3/4", fits a 1-1/2" wide belt and weighs about 5.5 oz.
